Lisa Battle, LMSW
Lisa (she/her) is a Licensed Master Social Worker and therapist living in Austin, TX. She received a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Texas at Arlington. Lisa is supervised by Sarah Kincheloe, LCSW-S. She provides individual and couples therapy to adults of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations. Lisa is committed to creating an affirming atmosphere for people of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Lisa specializes in anxiety, grief, and self esteem. Her therapeutic style is person-centered and strengths based, but she engages with a number of therapeutic methods and adjusts to what works for each individual.
Lisa believes that every person holds the knowledge they need to heal and move forward inside and that with the help of a guide (therapist) and a few tools (therapeutic methods), people can uncover this knowledge and begin to feel better, each and every day, all on their own. She also offers free consultations so you can see what the vibe is like before committing to a session.
